Distal Radius Fracture Decision Aid Development and Field Testing

Department of Orthopedic Surgery

Management of distal radius fractures (DRF) in patients over age 65 is complex. Patients and surgeons often have strong preferences about treatment of DRF. A patient decision aid (PDA) could facilitate shared collaboration and patient engagement in the decision.  The purpose of this study is to develop and test a PDA for the treatment of DRF in patients over 65.
