Facial Animation Surgery for Long-standing Facial Palsy

This project discussed the use of shared decision making (SDM) in dynamic smile reconstruction treatment options for patients with longstanding facial palsy. It also addressed how SDM can improve communication between patients and providers and enhance patient satisfaction, outcomes and quality of life. 

This project was led by Alison Snyder-Warwick, MD as part of shared decision making in pediatric facial plastic surgery.
